“Turning struggle into lasting strength, and transforming personal stories into purpose that inspires others.”

Every scar tells a story. Mine begins on a soccer field in Massachusetts, where I was once a top athlete chasing dreams of championships and college scholarships. But at 15, my life took a turn I never saw coming. A sudden illness left me curled up on the floor, in pain so sharp I couldn’t even scream. After countless test and surgeries, I heard the words: ‘You have Crohn’s Disease. There is no cure.’

The Challenge

The hardest part wasn’t the disease itself it was the silence. Nobody talked about it. I felt ashamed, broken, and completely alone. For years, I hid m struggle behind a smile, afraid of what others might think if they knew the truth.

The Turning Point

Everything changed when I found the courage to break my silence. Speaking openly about my pain didn’t make me weaker it made me stronger. It connected me with others who had been carrying their own heavy burdens in silence. That moment became the foundation for my life’s mission.

From Silence to Strength: Jack Lima’s Story

OUR MISSION

Today, I stand for courage, connection, and community. Through the Breaking Silence movement, keynote speaking, and coaching, I help people transform shame into strength isolation into belonging, and pain into purpose. Because I believe no one should have to suffer alone and that every voice matters.

CORE VALUES

- COURAGE - Speaking your truth even when it’s scary

- CONNECTION - Healing happens together, not in isolation

- AUTHENTICITY - Owning your scars as proof of your strength

- GROWTH - Turning adversity into opportunity

- COMMUNITY - Building a space where no one is left behind

This isn’t just my story - it’s a movement. If you’ve ever carried something heavy in silence, you’re not alone. Together, we can turn silence into strength and build a future where every story has the power to inspire.

Why This Matters to You

You may not have Crohn’s. You may not have stood on a stage. But we all carry something we’ve been afraid to share. Your voice matters and silence doesn’t get the final word.
